Aenthropie

Forms that resist time.

Laura Bertal is the designer of Aenthropie. Self-taught, she creates jewelry the way one keeps fragments of life: hammered surfaces, organic textures, forms born from the chaos of matter.

Each piece is hand-sculpted and then cast using the lost-wax method, an ancestral process in which no gesture is ever exactly repeated: two rings are never quite identical. The jewelry is made in 925 silver, sometimes in silver-plated brass, and some pieces feature a freshwater pearl.

Each of her rings carries a phrase, a moment or a story: a spiral that folds back on itself, a pearl emerging from chaos, the trace of a fingerprint pressed into silver. Fracture is form.
